"Fairmont Empress is recognized as one of Top 21 Iconic Hotels in the World by National Geographic Traveler magazine, honored with Travel + Leisure Magazine’s World’s Best Award for Top 10 City Hotels in Canada, and regarded as a Condé Nast Readers’ Choice and Gold List hotel. The Fairmont Empress is located in Victoria, BC overlooking the city’s sparkling Inner Harbour. While it is not a boutique hotel as such, it is worth a mention as it is such an iconic hotel in the city of Victoria."

"Fringed by crashing ocean, this waterfront park is ideal for feeling the breeze in your hair – check out the windswept trees along the cliff top. You'll also find a gigantic totem pole, Victorian cricket pitch..."
"There's certainly some great pizza places in Victoria, but we love Famoso for their kids' special for children 12 and under. Meals are between $8-$10 for a variety of pizzas or pastas, which comes with a kids beverage plus a scoop of gelato or sorbetto for dessert (which by the way, is amazing). They can even make these gluten free for a small additional cost."

"A post shared by Mr.F (@oscar_foca) on Nov 6, 2018 at 6:09pm PST. After encountering the Royal BC Museum’s majestic woolly mammoths, saunter over to Noodlebox to fill up on Southeast Asian street food. Noodlebox is able to accommodate those with dietary restrictions by substituting ingredients in their delicious dishes for their customers."
"Quick and funky, the Noodle Box is a great place to get filled up without emptying your wallet. The pan-Asian menu starts out with comforting favorites like spring rolls and fried dumplings. Soups, curries and stir-fries make up the remainder of the menu."

Since this is Victoria, it probably comes as no shock that another brunch place is on the list. In full disclosure, these restaurants can be a little tight which might not always constitute the most kid-friendly places for some."
"With three patio locations around Victoria, The Village really is ‘where the locals eat’. With all of their spots expanded, The Village is ready to make you feel cozy, comfortable and make the most of your 'tio experience. Pick the most convenient spot for you: Estevan Village, Royal Oak Village or Torquay Village - they are all worth the visit, specially Torquay, which is completely covered, enclosed and has a fire pit!"
"It's perfect for lazy brunching with friends and is super family-friendly. They offer a range of choices from pancakes or oatmeal to eggs benny and latkes. Alternatively, try their famous breakfast sandwiches or a granola bowl."
"This coffee shop is way less in your face than either Habit or Discovery coffee and it has a little bit of old world class to it that those other two places don’t have. Like Habit, Macchiato has another older location, this one is in Old Town and is also very nice, though quite small. What I love about Macchiato is the high ceilings and despite being in a relatively new space, the cafe feels timeless."
"Thank you so much Carissa for your special attention for Market Collective (Bay Centre) on 2021Apr12!. Also your coffee shop is amazing with friendly staf..."
"My partner and I are new to Victoria and this place makes us feel right at home. Gluten aware sandwiches AND cookies. Winning combo for me."
