"Concentrating on the typical tapas-style dishes that the original Japanese Izakaya establishments are known for, Mabui Sushi Izakaya is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion while digging into small plates of sushi, sashimi, seafood, teriyaki and tempura alongside a wide range of Asian beers, sakes and cocktails."

"One of the newer parks in the region, Scenic Canyon is 90 hectares of natural parkland located about a 20 min drive west of downtown Kelowna. The park is home to several hiking trails, cultural sites such as the gold pits and has some spectacular geological features such as Layer Cake Mountain and Pinnacle Rock. Dogs are allowed in the park, but must kept on a leash and are not allowed to leave the marked trails."
"A standout section of the Mission Creek Greenway offers some of the best natural eye candy in Kelowna: Scenic Canyon Regional Park. This five-kilometer return hike is popular year-round and rated easy with an elevation gain of 158 meters. The best place to access the trail into Scenic Canyon Regional Park is from the parking lot at 3965 Field Road near Gallagher's Canyon Golf & Country Club."

"Stuart Park is located near the Tourism Kelowna office, so anyone looking for a bit of extra help or insight into the area would do themselves a favour by coming here first. It’s also within walking distance of the Japanese-style Kasugai Gardens, which is a stunning local landmark."
"Through the hot days of summer into the cool mornings of fall, we harvest our calendula from around the garden – cheery and bright orange blossoms, packed full of antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties 🌼 The natural power in certain plants is really quite incredible, and simple herbal infusions are a great way of harnessing their benefits. We infuse our calendula petals in organic virgin coconut oil to create a nourishing, enriched oil that we combine with organic jojoba oil, local @arloshoneyfarm beeswax, our farm-grown lavender essential oil and vitamin E oil to make our creamy Calendula Body Butter (yep, that's it – full ingredients list!) Gentle enough for even the littlest members of the family, this body butter works to calm, heal and repair sensitive skin prone to redness and irritation, and it's packaged in our 100% biodegradable wood chip container for a gentler footprint on the environment too ♻️ [ and yes, that model bump is the first member of the 5th generation of our family farm, arriving later this fall 🥰 ]. "Beautiful beyond belief and located just a 15 minute drive from the heart of Kelowna, the Okanagan Lavender & Herb Farm is an absolute must visit. The garden itself is open May 18th – October 12th and you can take guided tours (at $15 a person) or wander at your own pace ($10 per person). There are so many great photo opportunities here, and beyond that they sell some amazing lavender products in their shop!"

"For an assortment of freshly-baked bread, pastries and treats, this Kelowna bakery is a must-try. Grab a bite to eat and a cup of coffee as a great way to start your day."
"For some of the best cakes in Kelowna, you must try Whisk Cake Company which crafts inspired wedding and special occasion cakes fused with locally-grown flavours and an Okanagan-inspired feel."
"This little German bakery is no place to go for sweet pastries. However if you’re looking for a hearty meal that will warm you up when it’s chilly outside, then by all means this should be your first pick. Choose your meat – Roast Beef, Smoked Beef or Veloute Chicken – and they’ll stick it on a beautiful Kaiser roll."
"Pictures is their famously large cordon blue sub sandwich with bubbly cheese after it has been run through the oven. It is an institution with no social media presence which means all by word of mouth. Busy can be an understatement on the weekends so be sure to get there before or after the lunch rush."
"I know this isn’t super ethnic but it is German and the sandwiches are to die for!!. When Ryan had asked around what places people recommended most of the locals mentioned this restaurant so we just had to try it!. We went for a late lunch around 2:45pm, just before closing time (3pm)."
