"GENERAL VIBE: Urban, Look-out, Nature-yBEST SEASONS TO SHOOT IN: Summer, Fall, Early to mid-Winter (Basically, if there’s snow)HIGHLIGHT FEATURES: Look-out over the city, Nature path, Flower beds, Stone wallsTHOUGHTS: If you love getting high above a city and spending some time drinking in the view, you can’t find a better spot to do that than at Sam Lawrence Park here in Hamilton. With an insane look-out over the city, you can trace your finger over some of the different neighbourhoods that make up the lower city and call out landmarks you see along the way. This location creates a really “epic” feeling and the tree-covered pathway along the brow provides another backdrop, creating diversity in your engagement photos."
"This park is probably where i’ve spent the most time shooting, so many sunsets and sunrises, it’s a great place during the summer to take a stroll and catch some views. If you happen to find yourself in the area on a Wednesday , Hamilton’s very own Jonny Blonde sets up the food truck and has amazing food with an amazing view. But don’t take my word for it here’s a video i created for “Dinner with a view"

"A trek to see the waterfalls in Hamilton would be incomplete without Webster’s Falls. Standing at 22 metres tall in the Spencer Gorge Conservation Area, the classic plunge-style waterfall boasts one of the most beautiful vistas in the entire region. An easy walk takes you through some beautiful green space before you’re introduced to the rushing creek that plunges down over the edge and crashes into Spencer Creek."
"If you are in the area for Dundas Peak, you will be in Spencer Gorge Conservation Area – where you can also hike to both Webster Falls and Tews. You have to pay to park at/enter Spencer Gorge but it’s apparently very worth it. Tews is the tallest waterfall in the region with a size comparable to Niagara Falls!"
"Webster’s Falls is another amazing waterfall in Dundas, Ontario. It is a 21 metre (72 foot) high classic curtain or plunge waterfall. Its water source is the Spencer Creek, which flows beneath a stone footbridge in the park before it plunges over the cliffs."
"Built in 1933, the Cathedral of Christ King is quite popular amongst the locals. It is decorated with stain glass windows that give the whole place a spiritual incandescence. The marble altar and the organ are two noteworthy features of the interior."
"Frootogo in Waterdown is a favourite simply because of the extensive play yard they have for the kids along with the delicious food options for the adults. Be sure to pick out a pie, eat some delicious soup and biscuits for lunch, pick your own apples and pumpkin!. Cost for the play yard is $3.50 per person."
"The scenic 120 acre Glen Drummond Farm centres around a sprawling pumpkin patch, but there are a whole lot of other things going on, from nine-hole mini putt to a huge corn maze. Explore the seriously scary haunted house if you dare. Wagon rides take you to the edge of the escarpment where you’ll catch breathtaking views."
"This farm is full of family fun activities including a barnyard play area, a machinery shed, straw fort, animal farm, 9-hole mini putt, and the classic wagon ride and corn maze."
"FirstOntario Centre (originally Copps Coliseum) is a sports and entertainment arena, with a capacity of up to 19,000. Host to nail biting ice hockey championships and a variety of concerts, this center is where all the entertainment and sporting action takes place in Hamilton. "HCMS Haida is a former Canadian naval battleship that was used from 1943 until 1963 and is now docked in Hamilton and open to the public as a national historic site. Part of the recently regenerated Catherine Street North waterfront, the boat is a hugely impressive landmark within the Hamilton Harbour.
