"Vij’s on Cambie St. is a 10-minute drive from downtown, and while it’s a bit out of the way of the more popular areas, it is on the way to the city’s biggest comedy club, Yuk Yuk’s. This Indian restaurant has been around since the ’90s and it has a great rooftop patio open in the summer. Get things like their famous lamb ‘popsicles,’ pork spoon, or mango kulfi to share if you’re with a group, though they also do single servings of most appetizers and half orders of their curries, so you’re always able to try a bit of everything even if you’re solo or with one other person."
