"A post shared by The Paisley Notebook (@paisleynotebook) on Dec 31, 2017 at 9:27am PST. Sandrine’s bakes authentic croissants fresh every day, and their Pain au Chocolat is a taste of France right here Kelowna. One bite of this lush and buttery pastry with its dark chocolate center, and you’ll feel like you’re in a Montmartre bakery with accordion music serenading you."
"If you’ve been following me for long in my decade history of this website then you’ve probably heard of Sandrine. She provides the Okanagan with an authentic taste of French pastries and chocolate. No one can beat her buttery traditional croissants, her macarons are perfection, cakes are an evening show stopper and chocolates make the perfect host/hostess gift."
"Sandrine welcomes hungry travellers to her family patisserie that brings the great taste of French baking to the heart of Kelowna. Coming from a long line of renowned French patissiers, Sandrine creates a decadent selection of gourmet chocolates, homemade tourtière or quiche, croissants and croque-monsieur as well as hearty, homemade soups."

"A 16-minute drive away from our Elmy Home, is the eight-acre, eco-friendlyfarm is found on the outskirts of town, and visitors are welcome to wander through the tapestry of plants and herbs grown on the property (visit for early summer, when the purple lavender is in bloom). Everything is harvested to create botanical products like essential oils, body butter, tea and syrup, and are completely free of additives, fillers and artificial preservatives."
"Beautiful beyond belief and located just a 15 minute drive from the heart of Kelowna, the Okanagan Lavender & Herb Farm is an absolute must visit. The garden itself is open May 18th – October 12th and you can take guided tours (at $15 a person) or wander at your own pace ($10 per person). There are so many great photo opportunities here, and beyond that they sell some amazing lavender products in their shop!"
"The start of this trail takes you past the Black Mountain Golf Club. After 10 minutes of hiking, you rise above suburban Kelowna into the outback. Black Mountain Regional Park offers a collection of short trails."
"One of the newer parks in the region, Scenic Canyon is 90 hectares of natural parkland located about a 20 min drive west of downtown Kelowna. The park is home to several hiking trails, cultural sites such as the gold pits and has some spectacular geological features such as Layer Cake Mountain and Pinnacle Rock. Dogs are allowed in the park, but must kept on a leash and are not allowed to leave the marked trails."
"A standout section of the Mission Creek Greenway offers some of the best natural eye candy in Kelowna: Scenic Canyon Regional Park. This five-kilometer return hike is popular year-round and rated easy with an elevation gain of 158 meters. The best place to access the trail into Scenic Canyon Regional Park is from the parking lot at 3965 Field Road near Gallagher's Canyon Golf & Country Club."
