20 Best French Restaurants in Victoria, Canada
"Spoons specializes in homemade comfort food with a contemporary twist. Large portions, indulgence, and experimental creations are what you’ll find in their cozy diner atmosphere. Their featured dish is Pina Colada Cheesecake French Toast; thick slices of coconut French toast, layered with tropical cheesecake filling, all topped with a Malibu rum and pineapple compote and drizzled with salted caramel."
"Spoons is a classic diner known for putting unique twists on comfort food. Located on Douglas Street, they are home to some of the most interesting brunch dishes in Victoria. If you have a sweet tooth, you might be interested in their Dulce De Leche Waffles which are topped with espresso caramel cheesecake mousse."

"I don't know if I've been living under a rock but until I wrote this and had a recommendation to try here, I never even knew there was a diner past all those mouth-watering treats you see from the sidewalk. This place undoubtedly has some of the best cakes and pastries, but their diner was a real treat. The old fashioned feel is lots of fun for the kids."
"This bakery is now being run by the third generation of the Schaddelee family, who originally opened it up in 1956. If there is a longer running bakery in Victoria, I am unaware of it. For me my favourite thing about the Dutch Bakery are all the little petit fours."
"While it's nothing fancy, their simple burgers and hotdogs are a huge hit with families. The seating inside is limited but they have a covered patio, and it's a fun experience to order from the window outside like it's a real drive in. One of the best parts is its location - I highly suggest taking a stroll through Beacon Hill Park during your outing, and even visiting the Petting Zoo (by donation) if you have time!"
"Beacon Drive-In Restaurant is on its 58th year of serving its classic treat – ice cream!. Using only local Island Farms Soft Serve ice cream all these years, it’s no wonder they’ve been around for so long!. Beacon’s warm atmosphere and friendly staff continue to serve up smiles and sweet treats year round, whether you prefer to order inside or out."
"Voted Victoria’s best ice cream 25 years in a row, the Beacon Drive-In knows how to swirl that perfect soft-serve cone. Ideally located by Dallas Road and Beacon Hill Park, you can eat in, or take your cone to wander."

"The restaurant was a welcome difference to all the touristy over-priced so-so places in Victoria.” See all The Roost Farm Bakery & Vineyard Bistro reviews"
"This coffee shop is way less in your face than either Habit or Discovery coffee and it has a little bit of old world class to it that those other two places don’t have. Like Habit, Macchiato has another older location, this one is in Old Town and is also very nice, though quite small. What I love about Macchiato is the high ceilings and despite being in a relatively new space, the cafe feels timeless."
